Under the direction of the Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration / Chief Financial Business Officer, Marco De Prosperis, the Finance and Administration Department oversees the Financial Affairs, Administrative Services, Facilities, Logistics, and the Human Resources of this Academic Unit, the University Libraries.

Financial Affairs |
Directs the overall financial operations of the Academic Unit. Prepare the annual operating budget ($18M), estimate revenues and projected expenses, review and approve all financial transactions, and make financial reports quarterly and yearly to central administration and external parties. Monitors and reconciles this academic unit's operational income and allocation to departments; tracks and disburses all Dean's office funding commitments. Manages payroll and identifies and approves funding sources for new positions. Review grant cost-sharing proposals and monitor expenditure compliance with Federal and/or State requirements. |
