Scholarworks@UARK: Author Guidelines

Submission of Theses & Dissertations

Your master's thesis or doctoral dissertation should be submitted directly to ProQuest according to the guidelines of the Graduate School. If you need help with formatting your thesis or dissertation before uploading into ProQuest, please access the guide available at the Graduate School link below.

As part of your submission process, the libraries' maintain a copy of your work within the institutional repository.  ScholarWorks@UARK makes your thesis/dissertation or project freely available to all web viewers. You may wish to embargo your work due to intellectual property concerns.  Please look at the Embargoes and Removals tab for more information.

PLEASE NOTE: If any part of the work contains patent pending research, it will not be loaded to ScholarWorks@UARK until the title and abstract can be publicly displayed. Make sure to note this when submitting your work to ProQuest when selecting an embargo. Please contact uarepos@uark.edu with questions.

Capstone Projects

ScholarWorks@UARK works with some departments to present the work of their graduate capstone projects.  For the most part, these will be submitted through the self-submission process.  Please talk to your department representative or contact us at uarepos@uark.edu.
