Research Paper Assignment Three (Due: April 14th by 5:00pm- Late work will not be accepted)
Your third paper assignment should have the following components (organized in this order):
Title Page: Your title page should include the following: title of your paper, the date, your name, and the course name (Sociology 4013: Sociology of Mental Health and Illness).
Introduction: Introduces your topic and conveys to your audience why your topic is important. This is where you should identify and define the general topic, issue, or area of concern. Your defined topic should be SOCIOLOGICAL and related to college student’s MENTAL HEALTH. Be sure to include a thesis sentence to guide the reader.
Body of the paper: This will be your attempt to write a literature review about your topic using the sources you have selected. You should weave your sources together by common themes. You should NOT simply list each study one-by-one. Pay attention to how the authors of the studies you read write the literature review for their paper. You should use all ten studies to support your topic. Good papers are a minimum of 10-pages in length. (Use 12-point Times New Roman Font)
Conclusion: Summarizes how the ten studies aid in our understanding of your topic.
Bibliography: Provides a list of the resources you have used, all of which should be cited using the American Sociological Association (ASA) format. This should not be an annotated bibliography. This is simply the reference list.
Other Requirements: You will need to upload your paper assignment to Blackboard. I do NOT need copies of the journal articles you use.
