In contrast to a lot of the children of farmers, who may have a chance to farm, themselves, most farm laborers work hard to help their children avoid working in the fields.

There are many government documents that relate to this topic. Some will be online, some will be on the shelves on Level Four. Look in the catalog, or use the GPO Monthly Catalog for a more comprehensive listing.
This database covers all types of U.S. government documents, including congressional reports, hearings, debates, and records; judiciary materials; and documents issues by executive departments (Defense, State, Labor, Office of the President, etc.)
