RefWorks (New version)

This guide will provide tips on using the New RefWorks, a version introduced in 2016. This varies from the usual version of RefWorks, now known as legacy RefWorks.

Using with Google Docs

You may also connect to your account while writing in Google Docs. You will first add the plugin for RefWorks by going to the Add-ons in Google Docs.  Then click Get Add-ons, then search for Refworks.

You will need to select FREE, then Allow, for the add-on to be added.  You may be asked to login to your RefWorks account.


To start using the Add-On, go to Add-Ons,, then ProQuest RefWorks, then Manage citations.
