Permission Requests

When writing for publication it is important to keep in mind that you may be required to provide copyright permission for extensive text and/or images used from other articles.  Even if the use would fall within "fair use" guidelines for classroom or research use, permission may be needed to publish.  Links are provided on this page to some publishers information on how to request permissions.  Be aware, this information may change often.

Publishers Using Copyright Clearance Center Rights Link

Below is a list of publishers with a link to their permission information. These publishers will most likely redirect you to a Copyright Clearance Center service called  Rights LInk .  That was their preferred option when they were added to this list.
