Best Bets: Medline 'versions' and some other databases

Best Bets

Databases -- These tools help to identify articles from journals and presentations from conferences.  They improve on Google and Google Scholar searching in the comprehensiveness of the search pool, and they allow modification of searches and use of a controlled vocabulary. MESH headings are a controlled vocabulary in Medline. Other databases may have different ones.
