About this Journal

Inquiry: The University of Arkansas Undergraduate Research Journal published by the the Division of Research & Innovation, the Honors College, and the University Libraries at the University of Arkansas, is an online publication aimed at showcasing the cutting-edge undergraduate research and scholarly activity at the University of Arkansas.

Inquiry: The University of Arkansas Undergraduate Research Journal was originally conceived by the Teaching Academy of the University of Arkansas as a forum for sharing the research and creative endeavors of undergraduate students at the UofA. Inquiry welcomes contributions from University of Arkansas undergraduate students from all disciplines. Contributions to Inquiry: The University of Arkansas Undergraduate Research Journal will include original research articles and presentations (including posters, research blogs, art exhibitions, audio and video presentations of theater and musical performances ). Additionally, the journal will highlight research accomplishments such as awards and scholarships won by undergraduate students.

Eligibility for Publication

Submissions are invited from degree-seeking undergraduate students (or within one year post graduation) who are conducting research in cooperation with a faculty mentor at the University of Arkansas.

Articles submitted for publication in Inquiry may not be submitted for publication in other university or college publications. Authors should decide on their preferred university/college publication and then submit to that publication only. If a manuscript is turned down from another university/college publication, then it can be considered for Inquiry, but the publication may be delayed.
