The AGSL Digital Photo Archive presents a selection of images from the extensive photograph collections included in the American Geographical Society (AGSL) Library at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

East Asia Image Collection is an open-access archive of digitized photographs, negatives, and postcards of imperial Japan (1868-1945). Images of Taiwan, Japan, China, and Korea are included.

This digital archive brings together photo collections from Chinese diplomats, foreign businessmen, missionaries, and officials of the Chinese Maritime Customs Service.

This site offers historical images from Protestant and Catholic missionary collections in Britain, Norway, Germany, France, Switzerland, and the United States. The photographs, which span from the middle of the nineteenth century to the middle of the twentieth century, offer a visual record of missionary activities in Africa, China, Madagascar, India, Papua New Guinea, and the Caribbean.

The site provides access to the records of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) which document the organization's international work in China, Japan, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The collection spans from the early twentieth century to present day and is housed at the Special Collections Department at the University of Minnesota Libraries.
