A research database is a searchable index of research literature where you can find published studies from peer-reviewed journals, among other types of research publications. The University Libraries subscribes to many different databases--some are specific to certain subject areas, while others have broader coverage of many subject areas. You will need to break down your research question or topic of interest into a search phrase using key terms and Boolean limiters (AND, OR, and NOT). You can also select options to limit by date of publication, publication type, and more.
