Getting Better Results with PubMed

PubMed provides insight into the medical, veterinary and public health literature, among other disciplines.

Databases Can Help You!

Many databases provided by the libraries have a "Cite" feature built in. When you are looking at the detailed information for an item, look for a link or button for citing. If the link is available, you will see a screen which provides with a citation in your preferred format that you can cut and paste into your bibliography.

PubMed download citations as nbib files which you may need to convert to another type of file, like .ris- but you can also save the marked citations as a .txt file and draw them into EndNote and some other citation managers that way.
