The University of Arkansas is currently gathering information for campus faculty and are able to create an ORCiD account for you!  When you give us permission, we will also help you populate your accounts.

You will receive an email indicating that an account is being made for you.  Click on the link in the email to accept your account.

At the ORCiD entry page, click on sign in. Instead of filling in your ORCID sign on and password, select access through your institution (the University of Arkansas).

After selecting the link to login through our University, you will be asked to select the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville from the institutions linked to ORCID.

You will then see the campus authentication screen.

Next step?  If you already have an ORCID account, you may link to it on this form.  If you do not have an ORCID yet, you can begin the registration process.

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. After signing into ORCID or creating a new account, you will be presented with a screen prompting you to grant the University of Arkansas to update your ORCID record.

Authorize access and you are all done!  You will see a message on your screen that you have been successful.

Soon you will see your affiliation on your screen.  If you have manually added an affiliation to the University of Arkansas please maintain the record that indicates that the University of Arkansas is the source of the information as it is considered more authoritative.

The University of Arkansas may choose to update this affiliation or add additional affiliation information to your ORCID record in the future.  These may include distinction, awards, or position and rank changes. If you no longer want the University of Arkansas to have access to update your ORCID record, you can remove access in the Trusted Organizations section of your ORCID Trusted parties page.
