Images are core resources in the design disciplines, including the history of the design disciplines. The Metropolitan Museum of Art maintains a searchable database of the museum's collections. Some images can be downloaded and used. Personal members of the Society of Architectural Historians have access to SAHARA, an excellent resource for images in architectural history.

The Libraries participate in Artstor, which provides you with a significant database of approximately 2.5 million images.
