Each year, more universities are retaining copies of their dissertations on their websites. Use our indexes to identify the titles. If they are not readily available in full text, use Google Scholar to locate them at their institutions.

Dissertations and theses can be helpful resources for exploring previous research performed on theatre history. As well as designs and character studies written by students at other institutions.  Persons who have completed their thesis and dissertation research often have access to materials that may not be easily available in our collection;therefore, their papers can be of significant help in identifying materials that can be requested from other locales.
