Henry Stewart Talks or HSTalks, is a collection of more than 1,100 lectures, case studies, and industry insights by leading experts from academia, industry, and commerce.  The collection is categorized into six broad subject areas, covering topics such as management, technology, finance, marketing, and strategy.  The video collections are update monthly. 

HSTalks is made available to campus through the Walton College of Business.

Embedding Henry Stewart Talks Videos

HSTalks videos are easy to embed in web pages, presentations or Blackboard course pages. 

What is less easy is making sure that off-campus users have access to the embedded video content. 

Following are the steps recommended by HS Talks for enabling remote access to your embedded videos.

  1. Connect to HSTalks from an on-campus computer or through the library link. 
  2. Verify that you are logged into the U of A account by checking the library icon at the upper right.

  1. Create a personal account with the link Sign up for offsite access.
  2. Once you have registered you will receive an email confirmation message; complete the registration process.
  3. Search for the videos or clips you wish to embed.  Click the button EMBED IN COURSE/OWN NOTES.

  4. Select options about the size of the video, length of clip, and autoplay.  To allow off-campus students to view the embed, be sure to check the Easy Authentication box. 


About Easy Authentication: Only post videos with "easy authentication" inside a secure file, web page, or course in Blackboard that is limited to U of A students. 

Henry Stewart Talks Embed Options

  1. Grab the embed code and follow these instructions for adding the video to your Blackboard course, using the instructions below.
  2. Test your video from an off-campus computer address.  If the embed is authenticating your students correctly, then you should see the green banner indicating "You have been identified as University of Arkansas."
