Our librarians provide customized instruction services to support student learning about responsible and effective research practices. This can include in-class, in-library, or virtual library instruction, and primary source instruction (with Special Collections). The University Libraries also support distance and online learning in virtual environments.
The Research Guides include a wide variety of topics and are authored by librarians to correspond to specific to courses/assignments, individual databases, and subjects. The Libraries' instructional videos, course reserves, and permalinks to library resources can help connect students to materials at the point of need.
The High Impact Practices (HIP) guide by librarian Kim Larsen includes a wealth of information and highlights from the 2023 HIP Show & Tell event.
In addition to library liaisons presenting to or interacting with courses directly, the libraries offer additional learning objects to support student learning asynchronously.
