This index was originally compiled and published as a paper copy by Kim Allen Scott in 1990. It was revised and expanded with an additional forty eight entries in 2002, and migrated to a webpage. In 2019, this index was converted to a PDF, to be made accessible to researchers looking for an in-depth index of all manuscript collections related to the Civil War held by the University of Arkansas Special Collections.
