This guide provides information useful to local area school groups that want to visit or use the resources of the University of Arkansas Libraries

Guest Use of Databases

Guests are able to use the databases we subscribe to while here in the library. However, we can not provide access to databases once the students leave and are off-campus, unless you are a current University of Arkansas faculty, staff or student. Searching in OneSearch is available to anyone off-campus, but there will be no access to online full-text materials.

If a student would like to come back to the library and do further research using our electronic databases, they can return on their own and ask to use the computers on the 4th floor as a guest user. They should stop by the Help Desk to be logged in as a guest user. Guest use is restricted to persons aged 16 or older, and a government issued ID is required for login.
