The scrapbooks contain constitution and by-laws, announcements, programs, reports, financial statements and budgets, newsletters, bulletins, and newspaper clippings pertaining to the Fayetteville Branch of the AAUW, the Southwest Central Region, and the National Association. The scrapbooks also contain photographs documenting various activities and events organized by the members to raise funds for miscellaneous sponsorships.

The Arkansas Division of the AAUW, parent of the Fayetteville Branch, was established in 1923 in Little Rock (Pulaski County), Arkansas. The Arkansas Division of the AAUW has continued to be active in important political and social issues up to the present day. Materials constituting the present collection focus on the Fayetteville Branch of the AAUW and include correspondence, accounts of meetings, financial records, and scrapbooks of clippings.

Chi Omega was a women's academic fraternity, founded at the University of Arkansas in 1895. The collection includes speeches and press releases, newspaper clippings, printed materials, photographs, and videotapes.

The papers consist primarily of minutes of the regular meetings of the Delta Iota Chapter, 1914-1959. Also included are Call Meeting, House Meeting, Officer Council Minutes, reports and rollss, by-laws, a petition to the Delta Delta Delta Fraternity for incorporation, and correspondence.

Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Iota Chapter, papers include a scrapbook of clippings, photographs, etc., 1973-1982, with cardboard exhibit (1961-62) laid in; newsletters (Iota Items), April 1973 - May 1984; and year books, 1963/64 - 1979/80.

Frances Barton Nutt, known as Fran, graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1950 with a degree in home economics. As a student, Nutt was a member of the University of Arkansas Band and President of Carnall Hall, a women’s dormitory, during her senior year. This collection is comprised of correspondence, photographs, memorabilia, yearbooks, and research materials.

The University of Arkansas’ 4-H House was organized in the fall of 1932. The 4-H House was supported by the Home Demonstration Clubs of Arkansas. n 1975, the 4-H House was sold due to dwindling membership which caused financial hardship on the club. Materials include alumni newsletters.

The materials in this collection were collected by Ruth Cohoon, first director of the U of A's Women's Athletic program. The collection pertains to the program's operations with a series dedicated to Title IX and the university's compliance.

First organized in 1914 by authority of the Smith-Lever Act passed by the U.S. Congress, the Cooperative Extension Service combined programs of the Department of Agriculture with extension work carried on by the University of Arkansas. The records have been arranged in eight series: county agent narrative reports, county development plans, historical appraisal reports, research papers written by Gene Word, 4-H club brochures, printed ephemera, topical files, and photographs.

This collection represents efforts made by female faculty members in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. The group sought to raise awareness and increase the number of female faculty members at the University of Arkansas.

Frances Vestal Snedecor was a student at the University of Arkansas between 1952 and 1956. The collection includes print materials describing the University, its programs, buildings, and student activities; souvenirs of student social and athletic events; grade reports; and the remains of flowers Ms. Snedecor received.

Whitworth was crowned Miss American 1964. The bulk of the collection pertains to Donna Axum Whitworth's reign as Miss America 1964, including photographs, assorted ephemera, audio and visual materials, newspaper clippings, scrapbooks, and gowns.
