The Minority and Women Owned Bussiness (MWOB) Recommendations guide is intended to provide detailed information on how to create a vendor account and initiate the process of doing business with the University of Arkansas.

How to do business with the University of Arkansas?

Suppliers are asked to visit the Doing Business at the University site to complete the supplier registration information.  Some of the information needed includes:

  • What type of service will you be performing for the University of Arkansas?
  • What department are you working with? Who is the contact?

Steps needed to become a UA supplier

All suppliers are asked to visit the Doing Business at the University site for supplier registration information. 

Additionally, Minority and Women-Owned businesses are encouraged to take the following steps for proper verification and identification through the Arkansas Office of State Procurement and Arkansas Economic Development Commission:

1)  Register through the state of Arkansas Office of State Procurement (OSP) to receive an AASIS vendor ID#. [Review this guide's step two to view a guided video on how to complete registration with the OSP]

2)  Submit your business to the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) online searchable directory. [Review this guide's step three to view a guided video on how to complete this activity]
