The HF Group is the commercial bindery used by the Libraries. Contact us for the 2022 binding shipment schedule.
The Preservation Unit serves as a drop-off point for university departments sending theses and dissertations for commercial binding.
Materials may be dropped off in MULN 216, and must be dropped off the week before the scheduled pick up week. Items must be in boxes, with tickets for each item, with a completed shipment record form attached. Preservation will notify the designated departmental contact when materials are returned from the bindery. It is the responsibility of departments to pick up their items as soon as possible.
Preservation coordinates the commercial binding of periodicals from campus branch libraries and Special Collections.
The frequency and time of year of binding for each branch:
Fine Arts - annually at end of spring semester
Physics - annually in January
Chemistry/Math - as needed
Special Collections - annually in November
Students may be interested in a bound copy of their thesis or dissertation. For more information on placing an order, visit Thesis on Demand, a service provided by HF Group.
