The HF Group is the commercial bindery used by the Libraries. Contact us for the current year's binding shipment schedule.

The Preservation Unit serves as a drop-off point for university departments sending theses and dissertations for commercial binding.

Note: due to construction in Mullins Library from Summer 2023 - Summer 2024, materials may be dropped off at the Mullins Help Desk on Level 4. They must be dropped off the week before the scheduled pick up week. Items must be in boxes, with tickets for each item, with a completed shipment record form attached. Preservation will notify the designated departmental contact when materials are returned from the bindery. It is the responsibility of departments to pick up their items as soon as possible.

Preservation coordinates the commercial binding of periodicals from campus branch libraries and Special Collections.

The frequency and time of year of binding for each branch may vary:

Fine Arts - periodically throughout the year

Physics - annually in January

Chemistry/Math - as needed

Special Collections - annually in November
