StaffGuide: Aeon Information for Staff

This guide provides workflows for staff as they use Aeon in Special Collections.

Printing Call Slips

To view and print call slips from Aeon, the user must have access to the Special Collections network drive on Wright. The Special Collections drive must be mapped on each computer that the Aeon client is installed on.

Tip: all Aeon workflows at the University of Arkansas require the use of the print callslip button. The print request functionality is not used at this time and should not be used instead of print callslip.

Default Print Settings

Aeon defaults to prompting staff to select how they would like to view and print call slips each time a call slip is printed.

  • click on the hamburger menu at the top left
  • select Printer Options
  • In the pop-up window, uncheck the boxes in the "prompt" column.

To restore the default settings,  click on the hamburger menu at the top left, and select Printer Options. In the pop-up window, ensure that the boxes in the "prompt" and "edit" columns are checked.
