StaffGuide: Aeon Information for Staff

This guide provides workflows for staff as they use Aeon in Special Collections.

Finding Manuscript Container Locations

Aeon requests generated from the ArchivesSpace public user interface do not include location information for the top container. There are multiple routes for finding this information:

  • Use the ArchivesSpace staff interface 
  • Use the ArchivesSpace addon in Aeon 
  • Use Caiasoft to confirm a container needs to be requested from LINX.
