The Staff Council provides a mechanism for the staff in the University of Arkansas Libraries to address issues important to library operations and personnel; to foster active participation by staff in advocacy, operational planning, and policy development; to strengthen communication among staff, Management Council, and Administrative Council; and, to grow the skills and talents of staff through an active professional development program

All full-time staff members employed at University Libraries are eligible and encouraged to participate.
