ERIC Documents

About
ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) is a federally funded service that reviews, abstracts, and indexes documents in the field of education, which may be interpreted more broadly as the social sciences, since the titles often cover other areas such as psychology and sociology. The documents, which include research reports, papers from association meetings, pamphlets, government publications, unpublished materials, bibliographies or almost any type of written work, except books or journal articles, were published on microfiche form the 1960s-early 2000s. Most ERIC documents from 1993 to the present are available online through the ERIC service from the U.S. Department of Education. The service has been actively converting legacy documents to digital versions.
