Usage: |
For manuscript collections, enter the MC or MS number, box number, folder number, and item/image number. The item number is optional. The image number should recorded for photographs if it appears on the original. Use this format: MC , Box , Folder , Item/Image If there is a series number, it follows the MC or MS number. For other materials in the Libraries’ collections, give the call number preceded by one of these designations: 1) Ark Coll; 2) Spec Coll; 3) Picture Collection; 4) Vertical File; 5) Main. Enter call numbers with a space between each element. If collaborating with another institution (for example, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art), confer with the collaborator on how to format the call number. |
