For single items:
- Search for the record(s) you wish to export.
- Click the result’s title to view its record.
- To the right of the title, click Cite .
- In the pop-up:
- On the left, click Export to EndNote .
- Then, click Close on the bottom right.
- If prompted, save the file; it will have an .RIS extension.
- Log in to EndNote.
- Under the Collect tab, select Import References .
- Click Browse to locate the saved file.
- From the Import Option drop-down menu, select RefMan RIS .
- From the To drop-down menu, select the group where you would like the record to be placed.
- Finally, click Import .
For multiple references:
- Search for the record(s) you wish to export.
- To the right of the each title, click Save .
- When you are ready to export the records:
- Click Saved Items (*) on the top right.
- On the next page, on the top of the results, click Cite .
- In the pop-up:
- On the left, click Export to EndNote .
- Then, click Close on the bottom right.
- If prompted, save the file; it will have an .RIS extension.
- Log in to EndNote.
- Under the Collect tab, select Import References .
- Click Browse to locate the saved file.
- From the Import Option drop-down menu, select RefMan RIS .
- From the To drop-down menu, select the group where you would like the record to be placed.
- Finally, click Import .
