To export a single record
- Search for the record(s) you wish to export.
- In the brief results display
- Click the ellipses (three dots) to show export options.

- Choose the EndNote option.

- Log into EndNote Basic, if you are not already logged in.
- Your record is imported.
- In the full record display
- Under the Send to section, choose EndNote.

- Log into EndNote Basic, if you are not already logged in.
- Your record is imported.
To export multiple records
- Search for the record(s) you wish to export.
- Check boxes next the records you wish to export.
- At the top of the page, choose the ellipses (three dots) and then choose EndNote.

- Log into EndNote Basic, if you are not already logged in.
- Your records are imported.
New! Export up to 5000 records in RIS format
You can now export up to 5,000 records in an *.ris file. To do so,
- Log into your library account if you are not already logged in.
- Conduct a search; when viewing search results, select at least one record for export.
- Click the option to EXPORT ALL RECORDS.

- Choose the options for file format and encoding, for EndNote the options should be RIS file format and UTF-8 encoding.

- Enter your email address and any notes and click Send.
- You should receive an email from libalma@uark.edu with your file of records attached.
Be patient; large files can take several minutes to export.
- Save the .ris file that was sent to you as an attachment.
- Log into EndNote Basic, if you are not already logged in.
- Under the Collect tab, select Import References.
- Click Browse to locate the saved file.
- From the Import Option drop-down menu, select RefMan RIS .
- From the drop-down menu, select the group where you would like the record to be placed.
- Finally, click Import.
You can also save records to your Favorites when logged in and export to EndNote from there. Read more about Favorites.
